I'm Greg. I was born in northwest Chicago and still live here, and I've been working on bikes since I was a kid. Most of what comes through my garage are bikes that were headed for the scrap pile. If it's bad enough, I strip it down and repaint it. If not, I get it looking decent and mechanically sound, and it goes back on the road.
The bigger projects started when I picked up a 1964 Fairlane for $125. After that, a Suzuki T500 and a Honda CB550 showed up for free, and the garage has been full ever since.
This site is where I keep track of all of it: what I started with, what I did, and how it turned out. I built and host the site myself, which is a project of its own.
